About the role

RQ Construction, LLC is seeking an Underground Pipe Layer to join its operations team on construction projects in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. The role involves installing sanitary and storm drainage pipes, water mains, and related underground utilities while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Level trenches or culverts to the required grade.
• Place and align underground pipes for drainage, sewer, and water systems.
• Seal pipe joints and ensure watertight connections.
• Follow project specifications, budget constraints, and schedule timelines.
• Adhere to company mission, vision, and safety policies on every job site.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1–2 years of field experience in underground utility work, preferably in government, military, or large‑scale commercial construction.
• Experience in design‑build construction environments is a plus.
• Must possess certifications in RCP, First Aid, OSHA 30‑hour, EM‑385, and STS (training can be provided).
