Associate Civil Engineer - Special Structures

About the role

Quadrante’s Transport Infrastructures Business Unit is seeking an Associate Civil Engineer to join the Special Structures department at its Alfragide office. You will work on national and international bridge, viaduct and other special structure projects, contributing to technically robust solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop structural designs for bridges, viaducts and other special structures.
• Perform advanced static, dynamic and seismic analyses using SAP2000 and related software.
• Define foundation and support solutions, including geotechnical and soil‑structure interaction studies.
• Ensure compliance with national and international regulations and industry standards.
• Prepare technical reports, design briefs and project specifications.
• Mentor junior team members and promote continuous improvement of design methodologies.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Minimum three years of experience in structural design projects.
• Experience with SAP2000/Robot and familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit or Allplan (valued).
• Strong sense of responsibility, autonomy and ability to work effectively in a team.
