Travel and Expense Team Leader for Spain

About the role

Airbus is seeking a Travel and Expense Team Leader for Spain to join its Travel & Expenses team based in Lisbon. You will lead a team, ensure compliance with policies, and drive continuous improvement across the T&E process.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily team activities, distribute workload, and coach members to achieve performance targets.
• Manage escalations, support litigation topics, and ensure timely query resolution.
• Build strong relationships with local teams, stakeholders, and leadership, acting as the focal point for employees.
• Propose and implement policy recommendations, process harmonisation, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in Travel & Expense functions.
• Leadership experience managing teams, preferably in a GBS or similar environment.
• Fluent in Spanish and one of Airbus’s official languages, with strong organisational and communication skills.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of SAP.
