Transformation Consultant – Digital Projects

About the role

Volkswagen Group Services is looking for a Mid Transformation Consultant to join its Consulting team in Lisbon. You will support digital transformation projects for Volkswagen Group partners, applying project‑management methods and delivering strategic guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Support consulting projects from conception to implementation, focusing on digital transformation.
• Apply project‑management methodologies to ensure timely delivery.
• Structure content, analyse problems and devise creative, independent solutions.
• Facilitate and moderate meetings and workshops across hierarchical levels and diverse cultures.
• Work on multiple topics in parallel, including customer projects, internal initiatives and business‑development support.

Required profile

• Degree in Management, Economics, Engineering or a related field (mandatory).
• Master’s in Business Management (a plus).
• 3+ years of experience in management consulting or a similar role with digital transformation exposure.
• Proven experience in process and data analysis for transformation projects.
• Strong analytical, data‑driven mindset with proactive, autonomous, hands‑on approach.
• Excellent English communication; German is a plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally across Europe and the Americas.

Required skills

• Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Teams (Power Platform knowledge is a plus).
• Familiarity with digital tools and frameworks such as Business Intelligence (BI), Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Agile methodologies and BPMN.
