Topógrafo – Tondela/Viseu

About the role

Ferrovial Construcción, S.A. is seeking an experienced Surveyor to join its Portugal team, supporting construction projects in the Tondela and Viseu area. The role involves delivering accurate topographic surveys and producing detailed plans that guide project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct topographic surveys of land, structures and infrastructure using high‑precision equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers and levels.
• Process and analyse survey data with specialised software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D or equivalent).
• Prepare topographic plans, longitudinal and transverse profiles, cross‑sections and digital terrain models.
• Support construction layout, perform geometric control during execution and verify correct placement of structural elements.
• Calculate earthwork volumes and material quantities.
• Supervise and ensure the quality of survey work performed by auxiliary staff.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects and site managers to integrate survey data into project workflows.
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and perform equipment calibration.

Required profile

• Academic background in Surveying, Geomatics Engineering or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of professional experience in a similar surveying role.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and safety standards.
