Theatrical Marketing Manager

About the role

Theatrical Marketing Manager will serve as Sony Pictures Entertainment’s primary marketing representative in Puerto Rico, leading the planning, execution, and performance of theatrical campaigns for film releases. Based in San Juan, the role works autonomously while collaborating closely with global and local teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute localized marketing strategies that align with Sony Pictures’ global objectives.
• Plan, implement, and monitor integrated advertising campaigns across traditional and digital media.
• Manage promotional partnerships, media promotions, and consumer activations to boost audience engagement.
• Oversee budgets, forecasts, purchase orders, invoices, and campaign expenditures.
• Analyze campaign performance, market trends, and emerging media opportunities to recommend optimizations.
• Lead local publicity efforts, coordinate press junkets, screenings, premieres, and special events.
• Maintain relationships with media, influencers, exhibitors, and promotional partners.
• Manage Sony Pictures’ local social‑media channels in line with corporate guidelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience in theatrical or film marketing, preferably within a studio or agency environment.
• Strong network with media, exhibitors, and promotional partners in the territory.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and deliver measurable business results.
