Associate Director, Events Marketing for Tax & Legal Buyer

About the role

KPMG is seeking an Associate Director, Events Marketing to lead event strategy for the Tax & Legal buyer group. You will translate business goals into high‑impact in‑person and virtual events that drive measurable results.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and co‑create an annual and quarterly event calendar aligned with buyer marketing strategy.
• Partner with national, local, and firm‑wide event teams to design, execute, and optimize event experiences.
• Identify new market opportunities, define event rationale, format, messaging, and build business cases with cost and ROI estimates.
• Integrate digital intent signals to personalize attendee engagement and capture event‑specific data.
• Own end‑to‑end success metrics, analyze performance data, and provide insights for future investment decisions.

Required profile

• Minimum ten years of experience in event marketing, strategic planning, and stakeholder management.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, ROI analysis, and cost modeling.
• Ability to collaborate with senior leaders and translate high‑level objectives into actionable event portfolios.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
