Technical SEO Manager

About the role

The Technical SEO Manager will shape and scale a global organic growth engine by combining technical SEO expertise, data analysis, and engineering collaboration. Working remotely from Portugal, you will tackle complex SEO challenges across millions of URLs and multiple international markets.

Key responsibilities

• Own the technical foundation for large‑scale organic growth initiatives, partnering with engineering and product teams.
• Develop and optimise systems for internal linking, sitemap management, indexability workflows, taxonomy and automated content optimisation.
• Build custom tools, scripts, scrapers and dashboards to support SEO analysis and automation.
• Leverage AI and automation in daily workflows to investigate, build and scale SEO solutions.
• Monitor crawl and indexation health, detect issues and maintain performance dashboards.
• Analyse server logs, crawl data, search performance and analytics to uncover opportunities.
• Diagnose and improve website performance, including page speed, rendering, caching, redirects and infrastructure‑related SEO challenges.
• Investigate technical issues across the full web stack, including CDN performance, edge systems and search engine interactions.
• Design, execute and analyse large‑scale SEO experiments to validate improvements.
• Act as the technical bridge between SEO, engineering and product teams, creating clear requirements and documentation.

Required profile

• Technically skilled SEO professional with experience managing large‑scale organic growth initiatives.
• Proven ability to collaborate closely with engineering and product teams.
• Strong analytical abilities and data‑driven decision‑making.
