Technical Buyer (f/m/div.)

About the role

Bosch Ovar, a Bosch group company with about 200 associates, is looking for a Technical Buyer. You will drive purchasing activities from supplier selection to product launch, working closely with Engineering, Quality, R&D and suppliers worldwide to secure quality, cost and delivery performance.

Key responsibilities

• Act as purchasing representative in cross-functional project teams and implement purchasing strategies aligned with project and business goals.
• Lead supplier sourcing, RFQ processes, negotiations and supplier nominations, and manage project purchasing plans and milestones.
• Collaborate with suppliers on prototype and sample availability, and support supplier selection and cost optimization.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Quality to meet technical and commercial requirements, and monitor supplier performance, production readiness and project risks.
• Contribute to innovation scouting, market research and benchmarking, and track project KPIs and purchasing targets.
• Manage change management and contract negotiations, and build long-term relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain or Supplier Management.
• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial or technology-driven environment and in managing suppliers and commercial negotiations is an advantage.
• Good English; additional languages are an advantage.

Required skills

• Knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing strategies and supplier management.
• Understanding of project management methodologies and familiarity with SAP S/4HANA.
• Ability to analyze costs, risks and supplier performance indicators, and knowledge of contract negotiation and cost optimization.
• Structured, analytical approach with strong project management and organizational skills.
