Tech Lead – AWS (Hybrid, Lisbon)

About the role

We are seeking a Tech Lead – AWS to drive the migration of our data platform from Azure to AWS. The role is hybrid, based in Lisbon, and involves leading the design and implementation of scalable, secure data solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and validate AWS data architectures, ensuring compliance with best practices, security, governance and cost‑optimization.
• Design data platform components such as data lakes, ingestion and processing pipelines, and system integration.
• Guide technology decisions on AWS services and support the development team.
• Implement data governance, access control and data‑quality measures.
• Track project budget, monitor effort, validate supplier invoices and manage technical debt.
• Produce technical documentation and handle infrastructure change requests.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Tech Lead or similar role.
• Extensive hands‑on experience with AWS and strong expertise in data system architecture and cloud platforms.
• Track record of designing complex solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Commitment to delivery quality and good level of English.
