Team Lead Accounts Payables

About the role

Air Liquide Europe Business Services is looking for a proactive Team Lead to head its Accounts Payables (AP) operations. You will drive cost‑effective processes, ensure high‑quality service delivery and lead a motivated team across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise invoice booking and guarantee compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLA).
• Oversee supplier query handling and ensure timely resolutions.
• Coordinate regular and urgent payments, working closely with Treasury and Master Data teams.
• Liaise with Procurement to resolve workflow issues and improve processes.
• Collaborate with Internal Control to maintain full policy compliance.
• Maintain accurate AP records, including supplier reconciliation and GR‑IR.
• Monitor KPIs, drive corrective actions and manage resource allocation for optimal efficiency.
• Act as second‑level escalation point for complex issues and manage country‑level escalations.
• Ensure SLA contracts are up‑to‑date and signed by all parties.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management or Economics (nice to have).
• 6‑8 years of extensive experience in Accounts Payable.
• Previous experience in team management, coordination or supervision.
• Experience in a Business Services Center or multinational environment is a plus.
• Upper‑intermediate to proficient English (written and spoken); additional languages valued.
