About the role
We are looking for a Tax Specialist to join our client’s tax team in Porto, providing expertise across the Group’s entities and supporting international operations.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with tax obligations across all Group entities.
- Act as the main point of contact with tax authorities.
- Provide expert tax advice and review contracts to ensure tax compliance.
- Identify opportunities for tax optimisation.
- Monitor and analyse tax legislation and updates in the countries where the Group operates.
- Organise and deliver tax‑related training to internal teams.
Required profile
- Degree in Law, Economics or Management with a specialization in Taxation.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a consultancy or shared services environment.
- Strong business and client‑oriented mindset.
- Strong analytical and decision‑making skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
