Tax Specialist – Full‑time, On‑site in Lisbon

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time, on‑site Tax Specialist to join our Lisbon office. The professional will manage the company’s tax compliance, covering preparation, filing and reporting, while ensuring alignment with local and international regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze financial data and apply relevant tax laws and regulations.
• Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
• Support tax planning initiatives and collaborate with finance and accounting teams.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and advise internal stakeholders on implications.
• Assist with audits and interact with tax authorities as required.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in tax law and compliance, with ability to interpret local and international regulations.
• Proficiency in tax planning and preparation processes.
• Solid finance knowledge to analyse financial statements in a tax context.
• Relevant academic background in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law or related field.
• Professional certification such as CTA, CPA or equivalent is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical abilities and communication skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese and good command of English; additional languages are a plus.
