Systems Administrator (Storage)

About the role

We are seeking a Systems Administrator (Storage) to join our dynamic infrastructure team in Lisbon. The role focuses on managing, supporting, and optimizing our enterprise storage environment, ensuring high availability and performance for critical data services.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, maintain and support enterprise storage platforms, including NetApp, Dell Isilon and Hitachi VSP.
• Manage NAS storage environments and ensure high availability and performance.
• Configure and support SMB Windows shares integrated with DFS and Active Directory.
• Administer and troubleshoot NFS, iSCSI and NVMe storage protocols.
• Monitor storage performance, capacity and system health, and resolve incidents.
• Automate operational tasks using shell scripting, Python and Ansible.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Systems and Network teams on strategic projects and platform improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in storage administration within enterprise environments.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one of the listed storage technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
