Systems Administrator / Service Desk Engineer

About the role

GRiT is seeking a motivated Systems Administrator / Service Desk Engineer to join its internal IT team. You will provide first‑line technical support, ensure the stability of the IT environment and contribute to continuous service improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network and system incidents.
• Install, configure and maintain workstations, peripherals and related software.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions and support Active Directory tasks.
• Handle ticketing, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and assist with backups, updates and security measures.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve IT processes and service quality.

Required profile

• Previous experience in Service Desk, Helpdesk, IT Support or Systems Administration.
• Strong analytical mindset, proactive attitude and ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent communication skills and a user‑oriented approach.
• Willingness to work on‑site during onboarding, followed by a hybrid schedule (3 days on‑site per week).

Required skills

• Solid knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN.
• Hands‑on experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting hardware and software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365.
• Familiarity with Active Directory and Windows Server administration (preferred).
• Knowledge of Primavera ERP and Salesforce (preferred).
