System Administrator (Mid Level)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated System Administrator to join our growing international team in Portugal. The role is aimed at professionals with 3‑6 years of experience who can manage both Microsoft and Linux environments and support day‑to‑day IT operations.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows and Linux servers, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Handle incident and service requests through ServiceNow, following ITIL best practices.
• Manage Active Directory objects, group policies and user access.
• Support virtualisation platforms and assist with VM provisioning and maintenance.
• Monitor and troubleshoot TCP/IP network issues and collaborate with network teams.

Required profile

• 3 to 6 years of hands‑on system administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and ticket management on ServiceNow.
• Experience with Active Directory administration.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP networking; virtualization knowledge is a plus.
