Staff Psychiatrist – Remote Telehealth (Full‑Time/Part‑Time)

About the role

Legion Health is seeking board‑certified psychiatrists (MD or DO) to deliver high‑quality outpatient mental health care through a fully remote telehealth platform. You will work from anywhere in the United States, providing evidence‑based psychiatric treatment while enjoying clinical autonomy and flexible scheduling.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and follow‑up visits via video conferencing.
• Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans, including medication management and psychotherapy referrals.
• Document encounters accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians to coordinate patient care.
• Participate in peer case reviews and continuous quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• MD or DO with board certification in psychiatry.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. state.
• Experience delivering psychiatric care via telehealth is preferred.
• Commitment to evidence‑based practice and patient‑centered care.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Experience using e‑prescribing tools.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual care workflows.
