SQL Server Developer (Mid-Level)

About the role

PrimeIT is seeking a skilled SQL Server Developer to join its growing team in Porto. You will work on designing, developing, and optimizing database solutions for a variety of internal and client projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain database objects such as tables, views, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and indexes.
• Write, troubleshoot, and optimise SQL code to ensure high performance.
• Design and implement ETL processes using SSIS.
• Lead data migration initiatives between different product generations.
• Analyse and improve query performance using deep knowledge of SQL Server internals.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in database development with MS SQL Server.
• Strong expertise in SQL coding and troubleshooting.
• Hands‑on experience with ETL tools, especially SSIS.
• Proven track record in data migration projects.
• Fluent English and ability to work in a hybrid environment.
