Spanish-Speaking Technical Support Specialist – Medical Devices

About the role

Kats Recruitment is recruiting Spanish-speaking Technical Support Specialists for an on-site role in Lisbon, Portugal, supporting a leading global manufacturer of medical devices and healthcare technologies. You will provide customer and technical support to healthcare professionals, clinics and patients, acting as a trusted point of contact for quick issue resolution and safe use of medical equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide empathetic, accurate and professional customer care and technical support in Spanish by phone, email and digital portals
• Help healthcare providers, pharmacies and patients with device setup, troubleshooting, configuration and connectivity issues
• Guide users through proper usage, operating procedures and product documentation
• Log, classify and track inquiries, product feedback and technical incidents in validated medical CRM systems
• Identify, document and escalate adverse events, product malfunctions and safety-critical incidents in line with regulatory standards such as ISO, MDR and FDA guidelines
• Coordinate device replacements, returns, warranty claims and spare parts logistics
• Maintain data integrity while complying with healthcare confidentiality and data protection laws

Required profile

• Native or near-native Spanish (C1/C2) with strong verbal and written communication
• Solid English (B2 or higher) for internal communications, training and database logging
• Interest or background in healthcare, medical technology, nursing, biomedical sciences or technical customer care
• Attention to detail, active listening and a calm, patient-centric approach
• Technical aptitude and problem-solving skills; previous experience in technical support, customer care or healthcare/pharma is an advantage
• Availability to work on-site in Lisbon on rotating operational schedules
