Software Project Leader – eBike

About the role

As a Software Project Leader for eBike solutions, you will drive the delivery of annual software releases and prototype developments, ensuring alignment across multiple technical domains. You will act as the central hub connecting development, testing, and leadership teams to achieve timely, high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Translate high‑level requirements into actionable work packages for development teams.
• Create realistic project plans in collaboration with developers and team leads, balancing development, testing, and integration timelines.
• Steer agile workflows using Kanban in Jira, prioritising and tracking tasks for full‑cycle transparency.
• Manage software delivery for prototype phases, coordinating base software, applications, and motor‑control domains.
• Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration, ensuring shared goals and smooth execution.
• Identify risks, dependencies and conflicts early, working with production and other stakeholders to resolve them.
• Take ownership of project streams in line with global project teams, driving end‑to‑end results.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics or a comparable technical field.
• Proven experience in software project management, preferably in embedded systems, automotive or high‑tech environments.
• Strong understanding of software development processes and system integration.
