Software Engineer – Go

About the role

Blip is seeking a Software Engineer specialized in Go to join its Flutter Functions Sportsbook & Trading team. You will work within the Group Strategic Platforms function, contributing to shared platforms that support millions of customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain high‑quality Go code following best practices.
• Participate in the full software development life‑cycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Write unit tests and implement automated testing to ensure reliability.
• Deploy applications using Continuous Integration pipelines and keep them up‑to‑date.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects and other engineers in an Agile environment.
• Produce documentation, flowcharts and specifications to support product development.
• Optimize application performance and resource usage.
• Apply secure coding standards and address vulnerabilities.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to work autonomously.
• Experience delivering software in an Agile team.
• Comfort with inner‑source development models and GitHub collaboration.

Required skills

• Golang (Go) programming.
• GitHub platform and GitHub APIs.
• CI/CD tools and pipelines.
• Unit testing frameworks for Go.
• Automation and reporting tooling.
