Site Reliability Engineer - IDP

About the role

Intermedia is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) focused on its Identity‑Driven Platform (IDP). The SRE will ensure that critical cloud applications remain highly available, performant, and scalable while collaborating with development, platform, and DevOps teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain monitoring, alerting, and optimization strategies for core services.
• Define, measure, and manage Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and error budgets.
• Partner with development teams to improve performance, reduce latency, and increase application resilience.
• Work closely with platform and DevOps teams to align infrastructure reliability with application needs.
• Establish reliability standards, operational guardrails, and golden‑path guidelines for platform capabilities.
• Automate operational tasks, including deployments and incident response workflows.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in site reliability, production support, or related engineering roles.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex, distributed systems.
• Comfortable working across application, platform, and operational boundaries.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude.

Required skills

• Monitoring and alerting concepts (SLI/SLO/error budgets).
• Automation and scripting for operational tasks.
• Experience with cloud‑native environments and DevOps practices.
