Service and Tire Center Driver

About the role

The Service and Tire Center (STC) Driver is responsible for safely delivering parts and tires to all company STC locations within an assigned delivery loop. The role includes operating a delivery truck under 3 tons, securing loads, and supporting store operations when not delivering.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a delivery truck in compliance with all traffic laws.
• Transport goods safely within the designated delivery loop.
• Verify load accuracy against the Bill of Lading and obtain required signatures.
• Load and unload products using hand trucks, dollies, or by hand.
• Secure all loads with proper stacking, padding, and restraints.
• Report accidents, incidents, traffic citations, and any violations.
• Assist with store activities and sell parts and services during downtime.
• Follow all policies and procedures outlined in the Store Operations Manual and HR Handbook.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record (no DUI or related offenses).
• Ability to read and write instructions, policies, bills of lading, and product descriptions.
• Strong customer service orientation and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and place merchandise up to 100 lb and perform frequent standing, walking, and bending.
