Global Category Manager – Application-Specific Integrated Circuits

About the role

This hybrid position (average two days per week on‑site) is part of Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s global edge‑to‑cloud business. The Global Category Manager for Application‑Specific Integrated Circuits is responsible for executing worldwide commodity and category strategies, coordinating procurement activities with engineering, manufacturing, and business units, and ensuring supply assurance and risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional teams to develop and implement program and process solutions that meet business objectives and drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor, analyze, and improve owned programs and key metrics, providing strategic support to achieve organizational goals.
• Coordinate purchasing activities with engineering, manufacturing, and strategic procurement to maintain optimal inventory levels and service standards.
• Mentor lower‑level contributors and represent the organization to external customers and partners.

Required profile

• University degree (advanced degree preferred) with 6–10 years of experience in procurement or supply‑chain functions, preferably in global procurement.
• Strong analytical and technical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and solid project‑management and leadership capabilities.
• Mastery of English and the local language, with deep knowledge of procurement processes and corporate compliance.
