SEO & Digital Marketing Expert (Remote, Contract)

About the role

This remote, hourly contract position is for an SEO & Digital Marketing Subject Matter Expert who will evaluate and improve AI‑generated marketing outputs. You will help shape training data for leading AI models, ensuring their SEO strategies and marketing copy are accurate, clear, and brand‑aligned.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed prompts and gold‑standard SEO/digital marketing outputs such as content briefs, strategy notes, and optimization analyses.
• Review, rank, and provide feedback on AI‑generated responses to improve intent match, correctness, clarity, and practical applicability.
• Identify and document issues related to search intent, keyword strategy, on‑page and technical SEO, content structure, measurement, and compliance risks.
• Fact‑check information, write high‑quality explanations, and model best‑practice outputs.
• Collaborate with the AI data services team to continuously refine model performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in SEO and/or digital marketing (in‑house, agency, or consultancy).
• Strong command of SEO fundamentals and technical SEO concepts.
• Proven analytics and measurement instincts using GA4, Search Console, and dashboards.
• Exceptional attention to detail, ability to spot weak logic, hallucinated facts, or risky claims.
• Reliable, self‑directed, and comfortable working remotely across time zones.
• Previous experience with AI data training, editorial QA, or performance‑marketing review is a plus.

Required skills

• Keyword research, intent mapping, information architecture, internal linking, content briefs, SERP analysis.
• Crawl/indexation, canonicalization, redirects, sitemaps, Core Web Vitals basics, schema markup.
• GA4, Google Search Console, dashboard creation, experiment design, attribution analysis.
• Advanced English proficiency (minimum C1).
