SEO Content Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an SEO Content Specialist to create and optimise search‑led content that aligns with user intent and drives conversions. The role blends traditional SEO practices with Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) for AI‑driven search and answer platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Write and update high‑intent SEO pages, comparison tables, FAQs and educational content that matches commercial search intent.
• Produce GEO‑optimised copy that can be understood, cited and surfaced by AI models such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews.
• Maintain a content refresh plan, identify decay, close coverage gaps and keep information up‑to‑date.
• Conduct keyword research across markets, analyse search intent and feed insights into the editorial calendar.
• Increase First Time Trader (FTT) volumes by targeting generic, non‑brand keywords and reducing reliance on brand search.
• Apply on‑page best practices – headings, internal linking, meta tags and quality assurance before publishing.
• Localise content for country‑specific sites while avoiding cannibalisation and duplicate‑content flags.
• Coordinate content across multiple global websites, ensuring consistent tone, structure and compliance with E‑E‑A‑T and YMYL standards.
• Monitor performance metrics (rankings, traffic, engagement, conversion) and iterate to improve results.
• Work within compliance constraints, using approved claims and risk‑language patterns.

Required profile

• Strong background in SEO writing and editing with a clear grasp of search intent and SERP formats.
• Ability to follow content templates and produce scannable, structured copy.
• High attention to detail, accuracy and ability to meet deadlines.
• Comfort with iterative feedback loops based on performance data.
• Understanding of GEO principles and how AI‑driven engines surface content.
• Experience managing content for global or multi‑country websites, aware of cannibalisation risks.
