Senior Test Leader (French Speaking)

About the role

Aubay Portugal is seeking a Senior Test Leader who is fluent in French to join projects for large organisations in banking, insurance, telecommunications and energy. You will lead testing activities, shape test strategies and ensure high‑quality delivery for critical systems used by millions.

Key responsibilities

• Define, implement and maintain test strategies, master test plans and schedules.
• Coordinate and manage a team of software testers, allocating tasks and monitoring progress.
• Work within Agile squads, collaborating closely with developers, product owners and stakeholders.
• Use test management tools such as Octane, JIRA and Confluence to track test execution and defects.
• Design, execute and report functional, API and database tests, ensuring coverage and traceability.
• Identify, log, prioritize and validate anomalies, driving them to resolution.
• Communicate test status and results to project committees and senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in software testing.
• Fluency in French (mandatory).
• Proven experience leading test teams and defining test strategies.
• Strong analytical, systematic and logical thinking.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Commitment to integrity, ethics and customer focus.
