Senior Tax Compliance – Lisbon/Porto

About the role

EY is seeking a highly motivated Senior Tax Compliance professional to join its Business Tax Compliance (BTC) team in Lisbon or Porto. You will work with a diverse portfolio of domestic and international clients, helping them align tax compliance with business strategy while delivering high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple technical and advisory tax compliance projects for a wide range of clients.
• Identify and develop new strategic business opportunities.
• Coordinate timelines and expectations with customers to ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare and submit corporate tax obligations (IRC, IVA, IRS, IMI, etc.) and related reporting (COPE, CBCR).
• Advise local and multinational companies on tax compliance to support competitive advantage and shareholder value.
• Stay up‑to‑date with tax, legal and business trends relevant to client industries.
• Contribute to team productivity through effective communication and collaboration.

Required profile

• Academic degree in Tax, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in tax compliance.
• Experience in a consulting environment, preferably Big 4 or second‑tier firms.
• Proven team‑management and business development experience.
• Ability to work on multicultural projects and environments.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
