Senior Software Engineer - Typescript/Node

About the role

MineHub is building a greenfield platform to modernise global raw‑material supply chains. As a Senior Software Engineer you will shape the backend architecture, define core patterns, and set technical standards for years to come.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, secure, and scalable backend services using TypeScript on Node.js.
• Own architectural decisions for the new platform, selecting appropriate API designs, data models, service boundaries, and asynchronous workflows.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to create reliable, maintainable architectures that scale with business growth.
• Ensure systems meet MineHub’s performance, security, and reliability standards.
• Write clean, efficient, well‑documented code and conduct thorough code reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers through pair programming, feedback, and career guidance.
• Partner with Product, Customer Success, and Sales to translate customer needs into technical solutions.
• Communicate project status, constraints, and opportunities to non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience delivering production‑grade systems in TypeScript or JavaScript on Node.js.
• Based in Portugal with legal eligibility to work there, supporting occasional in‑person team meet‑ups.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to make architectural decisions for a greenfield platform.
