Senior Software Engineer / Technical Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer / Technical Consultant to join a high‑performing global technology team in Lisbon. This hands‑on role involves designing, building, and owning complex full‑stack solutions for strategic, international projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver end‑to‑end technical solutions using the defined stack.
• Manage the technical debt backlog, prioritising fixes with a long‑term quality mindset.
• Create and maintain accurate technical documentation.
• Support infrastructure change requests with minimal disruption.
• Collaborate with global teams across strategic delivery programmes.
• Drive quality and consistency across all deliverables.

Required profile

• Up to 15 years of software engineering experience, with deep expertise in at least one platform, language or framework.
• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven track record delivering complex solutions in strategic projects.
• Knowledge of the Energy & Utilities market and GDPR is a strong differentiator.
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, global, fast‑moving environment.
