Senior Software Engineer - Java

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer specialized in Java to join our Energy Management Division, delivering innovative solutions for the smart mobility ecosystem and electric vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test and maintain high‑performance, scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional and feature teams to define project goals and influence technical direction.
• Support Solution Architects with architectural decisions, applying best practices and out‑of‑the‑box thinking.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues throughout the development lifecycle.
• Establish coding standards, conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.

Required profile

• BSc in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on experience in the Java ecosystem, especially with Spring Boot.
• Strong experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
• Proven ability to design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate third‑party services.
• Familiarity with asynchronous flows and event‑driven architecture is a plus.
• Knowledge of geospatial data (e.g., Google Places) or EV charging network interfaces (e.g., OCPI) is a plus.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Team‑player attitude and curiosity to learn new technologies.
