Senior Software Engineer (Java & Angular)

About the role

Cross Border Talents is hiring Senior Software Engineers in Lisbon. The role focuses on building efficient, reusable back-end systems and delivering high-quality software through close collaboration with product managers, designers and other developers.

Key responsibilities

• Implement efficient and reusable back-end systems using Java and Spring.
• Develop and integrate data from various sources to improve application functionality.
• Optimize application performance for fast loading and smooth user interaction.
• Debug and resolve issues across the full stack.
• Keep up with emerging technologies and suggest innovative solutions.
• Take part in code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices.
• Document your work and collaborate with product managers, designers and other developers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 5 years of hands-on technical experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in application development and design.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum and excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to collaborate across time zones, especially with North American teams.
