SAP FICO Consultant

About the role

Airbus Portugal is looking for an SAP FICO Consultant to join its Finance transformation team. You will support SAP S/4 HANA Finance across the group and help deploy the solution in Airbus entities, working with Finance, IT, Sales, Logistics and subsidiary teams in an international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the worldwide accounting users network for 80+ legal entities of the Airbus Commercial Aircraft division on S/4 HANA solutions covering General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Tax, Cost accounting, Consolidation and Treasury.
• Run maintenance and change requests, collect and analyse incidents, propose and apply fixes, and deliver changes on time and with quality.
• Keep product documentation up to date.
• Analyse current business processes and systems, identify gaps against the Group SAP S/4 Finance core model, define and customise the target solution, run unit and integration tests and manage migrations.
• Manage projects on scope, planning, budget, risk and reporting, drive the project lifecycle from concept to go-live, animate multi-functional teams and interpret finance needs into new processes.
• Work with IT departments on solution definitions, handle change management for the Finance community and anticipate system evolutions.

Required profile

• 5 to 10 years of experience in Finance / IT.
• Background in accounting and management accounting standards.
• Good understanding of finance business processes (R2R, P2P, O2C).
• Negotiation-level English.

Required skills

• Experience with SAP implementation and support: requirements analysis, system configuration, testing, documentation and end-user training.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA is a plus.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
