Senior SEO Account Manager

About the role

This senior, client‑facing position supports U.S. home‑services businesses by improving their local search visibility and driving measurable lead growth. Based in Portugal, you will act as the primary strategic partner for a portfolio of 8–10 accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end local SEO performance for 8–10 U.S. home‑services clients.
• Lead onboarding calls, monthly strategy reviews, regular check‑ins and performance discussions.
• Conduct comprehensive local SEO audits, identify gaps and growth opportunities, and design customized strategies.
• Optimize Google Business Profiles, including posts, photos, Q&A, reviews and profile information.
• Implement on‑site SEO improvements on WordPress sites: technical fixes, metadata, content and internal linking.
• Build and maintain local citations and directory listings with accurate NAP data.
• Monitor rankings, organic traffic, leads and other KPIs using BrightLocal, Whitespark, Google Search Console and GA4.
• Translate SEO data into clear, actionable recommendations for clients.
• Support social‑media planning for selected accounts when needed.
• Stay ahead of Google algorithm changes and local SEO trends.
• Leverage AI and automation tools to streamline workflows while maintaining quality.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of hands‑on local SEO experience with a proven record of improving rankings, traffic and lead generation.
• Commercially minded, proactive and comfortable communicating insights to senior business leaders.
• Ability to work autonomously, audit accounts, identify opportunities and continuously optimize performance.
