Senior Product Management - Technical

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Product Management professional with a strong technical focus to help shape the vision and roadmap of its payment platforms. You will work closely with engineering, UX, and business stakeholders to translate strategic goals into actionable product features.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to platform and product vision aligned with Mastercard’s broader strategy.
• Apply the Working Backwards method to turn business requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with engineering, UX, and cross‑functional teams to define, prioritize, and deliver features.
• Monitor development progress, identify gaps, and charter new platform capabilities as needed.
• Support customer research, competitive analysis, and data‑driven decision making.
• Prioritize backlog items based on value, feasibility, and leadership guidance.
• Track performance metrics, adoption, reliability, and feature health post‑launch.
• Maintain product documentation and assist with issue triage and root‑cause analysis.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in product management within a technical environment.
• Strong ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering, design, and business teams.
• Data‑oriented mindset with experience using metrics to guide product decisions.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate product vision and influence stakeholders.
