Senior Manager – Head of Payments

About the role

We are looking for a senior leader to head the Payments business for the Bank across the US and Puerto Rico. The Head of Payments will define and align strategy for P2P, P2B and B2B payment solutions, drive product innovation and ensure profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Define the bank’s payment strategy and lead investment decisions with a clear vision for the future.
• Communicate continuously with internal and external stakeholders to align product road‑maps and priorities.
• Lead the creation, design, development and delivery of scalable payment capabilities such as commercial payables/receivables, card solutions and point‑of‑sale services.
• Own the P&L of payment products, working with sales on pricing and with technology on infrastructure costs to maintain profitability.
• Identify and execute marketing initiatives that drive product adoption and revenue growth.
• Monitor market trends, partnerships and emerging technologies to expand integrated services.
• Ensure product performance meets operating KPIs and use data‑driven insights for continuous improvement.
• Promote Agile ways of working to foster collaboration, dynamism and efficiency.

Required profile

• At least 15 years of leadership experience with a proven record in product development, innovation, commercialization and revenue growth.
• Strong product‑management background combined with cross‑functional knowledge of marketing, technology, operations and data.
• Experience in e‑commerce across multiple industry verticals.
• Strategic, results‑driven mindset capable of solving complex problems with multiple constraints.
