Senior International Sourcing Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior International Sourcing Manager to lead our global supplier network and drive product development initiatives. Based in Lisbon, you will shape the company’s sourcing strategy, negotiate with key partners, and expand our portfolio across multiple consumer categories.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute an international sourcing strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Identify, evaluate, negotiate with, and develop strategic relationships with suppliers worldwide, especially in Asian markets.
• Lead sourcing, product development, and supply‑chain optimisation projects.
• Conduct complex commercial negotiations to secure optimal cost, quality, innovation and lead‑time outcomes.
• Develop new product categories and broaden the company’s portfolio.
• Monitor market trends, cost developments and consumer behaviour to uncover new opportunities.
• Track KPIs and drive continuous improvement across sourcing processes.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Quality, Logistics and Marketing teams.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, product quality and sustainability throughout the supply chain.
• Represent the company at international trade fairs, supplier visits and sourcing missions, including regular travel to China and other strategic markets.
• Mentor junior team members and promote best‑practice knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in international sourcing, strategic procurement or purchasing.
• Proven track record negotiating with international suppliers, preferably in Asian markets.
• Strong understanding of product development, category management and supply‑chain management.
• Analytical mindset with results‑driven orientation.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
