Senior HR Specialist

About the role

Sodexo Business Services is seeking a Senior HR Specialist to lead the full employee lifecycle and ensure seamless HR operations across its European markets. You will act as the primary HR contact, supporting managers and employees while driving compliance and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage onboarding, contractual documentation, employee changes, and off‑boarding processes.
• Coordinate payroll with external providers, guaranteeing data accuracy, compliance and timely execution.
• Maintain HR administration including employee records, time & attendance, absences, benefits and HR systems.
• Ensure adherence to labour legislation, internal policies, GDPR and produce required reports.
• Analyse and report HR metrics such as FTE allocation, bonus calculations and workforce data.
• Oversee occupational health, insurance, work‑accident management and other welfare processes.
• Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies, processes and people‑related matters.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver an efficient employee experience.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in HR Operations with solid exposure to payroll and employee administration.
• Strong knowledge of labour law, payroll principles, GDPR and HR compliance.
• Proven ability to work autonomously, manage complex cases and drive continuous improvement.
• High integrity, discretion and attention to detail when handling confidential information.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
