Senior Frontend Developer – AI

About the role

Intermedia is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to join its AI product engineering team. You will design and build modern, scalable frontend experiences that power AI‑driven capabilities across Contact Center and Unified Communications products. The role is primarily remote with occasional visits to the Coimbra office.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop high‑quality, maintainable frontend solutions using Angular or similar frameworks.
• Implement AI‑powered user interfaces for products such as AI Agents, Agent Assist, Supervisor Assist and AI Builder.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure intuitive, accessible, and responsive user experiences.
• Contribute to frontend architecture decisions and subsystem design.
• Optimize performance, responsiveness and cross‑browser behavior across devices.
• Write clean, testable code following Intermedia’s engineering standards.
• Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies and documentation of technical decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Hands‑on, product‑focused mindset with experience building complex frontend applications.
• Ability to work collaboratively with product managers, designers and backend engineers.
• Strong focus on usability, accessibility and quality.

Required skills

• Angular (or comparable modern frontend framework).
