Senior Finance & Accounting Specialist

About the role

Join Siemens as a Senior Finance & Accounting Specialist and help shape the financial backbone of a global technology leader. You will work closely with local management, headquarters and external auditors to ensure accurate reporting and support strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the monthly financial closing and guarantee all reporting requirements are met.
• Perform regular critical reviews of the Balance Sheet and P&L.
• Advise operating businesses on accounting issues and special transactions.
• Maintain effective communication with internal and external partners, including auditors.
• Support the implementation of new business‑specific accounting standards and controls.
• Assist in special projects such as M&A transactions and other accounting‑related initiatives.
• Contribute to process enhancement and harmonisation of accounting systems.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Accounting & Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, audit or a comparable role.
• Strong critical thinking, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Team player able to work in a changing environment and willing to travel.
• Fluent English (mandatory) and preferably an additional language.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of SAP.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office suite.
