Global Finance Governance Manager

About the role

Join Siemens Energy’s Grid Technologies Service team as a Global Finance Governance Manager. You will shape the way the business calculates, prices and manages risk, ensuring consistent and transparent financial practices across a worldwide portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain global guidelines for product and project cost calculation, guaranteeing consistency across Grid Technologies Service.
• Design and implement a global sales calculation methodology to provide uniform pricing logic across regions and business lines.
• Own the post‑calculation process, validating standard rates and maintaining mark‑ups for risk contingency and warranty provisions.
• Drive identification and tracking of risks and opportunities, supporting mitigation measures together with project stakeholders.
• Establish a reporting cadence for Enterprise Risk Management, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the unit.

Required profile

• A commercial degree or comparable qualification in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling or Industrial Engineering with a commercial focus.
• Solid hands‑on experience in controlling, costing or commercial project management, preferably with project execution background.
• Strong analytical skills, a structured detail‑oriented approach and the ability to think and act globally.
• Proficiency in cost accounting principles, pricing logic and risk management concepts, together with digital skills in ERP systems.
• Fluent English; German or additional languages are a plus.
