Senior Director, Plant Manager – Medical Device Manufacturing

About the role

The Sr. Director, Plant Manager leads the Integra LifeSciences manufacturing site, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, customer service, and financial performance for medical device production.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure safety of all colleagues and foster a strong safety and compliance culture.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to solve operational issues and drive continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma tools.
• Oversee quality compliance with FDA QSR, ISO 13485, EU MDR, CMDR and other regulatory standards.
• Manage site financial performance, budgeting, headcount and capital investments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or related) with 15+ years of leadership experience, or Master’s degree with 10+ years.
• Proven ability to manage P&L, budgets and operational expenses.
• Excellent organizational and English communication skills.
• Experience in a regulated medical device or pharmaceutical environment.

Required skills

• Lean Six Sigma methodologies (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Kanban, OEE).
• Regulatory knowledge (FDA QSR, GMP, ISO 13485, EU MDR, CMDR).
• ERP systems such as SAP.
• MS Office Suite and statistical analysis software.

• Salary range $156,000 – $219,000 USD, with potential bonus, equity and other variable compensation.
