Senior Director, Data & Insights (Monopoly GO!)

About the role

Scopely is seeking a Senior Director of Data & Insights to shape the data strategy for the blockbuster mobile title Monopoly GO!. The role is open to remote candidates in the UK, Ireland, or Portugal, and to hybrid candidates based in Barcelona or Seville.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the vision for Analytics Engineering, Data Science, and Product Analytics across the studio.
• Lead the design of the data platform, including pipelines, warehouse, and semantic layer, with a focus on speed, reliability, and self‑service access.
• Drive AI‑enabled workflows, setting the AI vision and ensuring its integration throughout the organization.
• Partner with product, design, and marketing teams to translate data insights into actionable product improvements.
• Maintain strategic alignment with Scopely’s central data function and champion a metrics‑first culture.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in data‑driven environments, preferably within gaming or consumer tech.
• Strong track record of building and scaling analytics engineering and data science teams.
• Ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders and drive rapid, data‑centric decision making.
• Experience setting AI strategy and embedding it in product workflows.
