Senior Customer Training Specialist – Hugo RAS Technology

About the role

Medtronic seeks a passionate Senior Customer Training Specialist to join the European Robotics Surgical Team. You will use your technical and clinical expertise to train surgeons, first assistants, and OR staff on the Hugo RAS robot, supporting patient care and outcomes across General Surgery, Urology and Gynaecology.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver education and hands‑on training on the Hugo Robotic Assisted Surgery technology.
• Support laboratory sessions, workshops and assess trainee efficiency and safety.
• Collaborate with Sales, Clinical, Medical Affairs and surgical proctors to set training expectations.
• Travel up to 75% of the time to the training centre in Belgium.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years in training, field sales, clinical or technical roles within medical devices.
• Experience with laparoscopic and/or robotic assisted surgery technologies.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work in a high‑tech environment.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Hugo RAS system technology and applications.
• Proficiency in robotic and laparoscopic surgical equipment.
• Ability to design, develop and evaluate blended learning solutions.
