Field Service Engineer – Medical Devices

About the role

Support the technical needs of Philips HealthTech by installing, maintaining and implementing equipment across multiple modalities, ensuring high customer satisfaction. The Field Service Engineer acts as the ambassador of Philips, meeting business targets while delivering reliable service.

Key responsibilities

• Execute technical service requests, problem resolutions and planned activities in line with regulatory guidelines and company procedures.
• Provide solutions using remote diagnostics, onsite troubleshooting, technical information and service work orders, keeping customers informed of status.
• Focus on First‑Time‑Right execution, preparing clear action plans, required parts and diagnoses before onsite visits.
• Collaborate with the Customer Service delivery team in Portugal and report to the Area Service Delivery Manager.

Required profile

• Degree in Biomedical or Electrotechnical engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with medical devices such as X‑ray, IGT, CT scanners or MRI.
• Customer‑first attitude, proactive ownership and strong communication skills.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English; Spanish is a plus.
• Willingness to travel and work in a hybrid model.

• Base salary range €26,065 – €43,441.66 per year, plus short‑term incentive.
