Senior Corporate Accountant – Porto

About the role

RHJ Group is seeking a proactive Senior Corporate Accountant to join its Porto office. You will be the main point of contact for corporate clients, providing tax advice, compliance support and financial reporting in a fast‑paced, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison for corporate clients, building lasting relationships.
• Answer client tax queries with clear, accurate, and timely advice.
• Prepare and deliver client reports as required.
• Submit tax obligations on behalf of clients, ensuring accuracy and deadline compliance.
• Process client expenses based on invoices and receipts.
• Maintain tax compliance across relevant jurisdictions.
• Advise clients on upcoming tax deadlines and required actions.
• Research and present tax‑specific information in an understandable format.
• Liaise with tax authorities to resolve queries.
• Oversee delegated tasks for the Admin & Payroll team, ensuring quality.

Required profile

• Certificado Nivel Secundario de Educação or equivalent (EQF Level 4+).
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to build professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Portuguese and English.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
