Senior Civil Engineer (Civil Site Design)

About the role

CSA Group is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer specialized in civil site design to join its fast‑paced, multidisciplinary team. The role involves creating design concepts, calculations and construction documents while collaborating with MEP, structural and architectural disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop sketches, diagrams, design alternatives, calculations, permitting and construction drawings under supervision of an experienced civil engineer.
• Assist with project scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, documentation, submittals, quality control and interdisciplinary coordination.
• Collaborate with MEP, structural engineering and architecture departments on multi‑disciplinary projects.
• Participate in client and project meetings, providing technical input and status updates.
• Support report writing and the preparation of contract documents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in design and planning of multi‑disciplinary engineering projects, including civil‑site work.
• Strong knowledge of current codes and standards.
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team, with strong analytical and communication skills.
• Interest in continuous learning, especially in AI, and commitment to ethical AI adoption.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D.
