Senior C++ Software Engineer

About the role
We are looking for a Senior C++ Software Engineer to join a leading robotics and technology company. The role is full‑time, permanent and offers a hybrid working model with occasional international travel.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design, development and testing of software applications.
- Oversee testing, debugging and code verification before production release.
- Create technical documentation and report progress to internal stakeholders.
- Participate across the full system development lifecycle, including field testing when required.
- Collaborate closely with wider engineering teams.
Required profile
- Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field (BSc/BEng/HND) or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience with C++, ROS and ROS2.
- Strong understanding of Linux environments.
- Experience using Git for version control.
- Solid hardware integration experience.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
