Senior Associate – Transfer Pricing Tax

About the role

Amgen’s Capability Center in Portugal is looking for a Senior Associate to join its global tax team. The role will focus on preparing and coordinating Amgen’s transfer pricing documentation, including the OECD Master File and local country files. You will work closely with finance, tax advisors and cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure compliance and support audit readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Amgen’s annual OECD Master File and U.S. Section 6662 documentation package.
• Develop and maintain local‑country transfer pricing documentation in line with statutory requirements.
• Collect and analyse statutory financial data and intercompany transaction information.
• Assist with functional and economic analyses, updating entity profiles and interview documentation.
• Coordinate with Finance and other business units to gather inputs and understand value drivers.
• Maintain documentation templates, track deadlines and perform consistency checks across reports and agreements.
• Support overall tax compliance, audit readiness and continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field.
• Several years of experience in transfer pricing documentation or related tax work.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with global teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Knowledge of OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines and local documentation requirements.
• Familiarity with financial statement analysis and intercompany transaction structures.
• Proficiency in data collection and documentation tools.
