Senior Android Developer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Android Developer to join our remote team at Aubay Portugal. You will work on critical systems for large organisations in banking, insurance, telecommunications and energy, delivering high‑impact mobile solutions to millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ensure code quality, performance and security through code reviews and automated testing.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical best‑practice discussions.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and continuously improve development processes.

Required profile

• At least 6 years of professional experience in Android development, including senior‑level responsibilities.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Legal eligibility to work in Portugal (citizen or valid work permit).
